Program Information

ThanksUSA has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children and spouses of U.S. military service personnel (who have served at least 180 days after 09/11/01), including spouses and children of the Fallen and Wounded, who plan to continue their education in college, vocational or technical school programs.

Scholarships are offered to dependent children for full-time study at a United States accredited institution of the student's choice. Spouses may attend full-time or part-time (a minimum of six credits per term) at any university, college or vocational school. The ThanksUSA Scholarship Program is for undergraduate study.

The 2019 program will accept applications from April 1 through May 15.

In addition, Purdue University Global is proud to offer several undergraduate scholarships through ThanksUSA for eligible military spouses and dependent military children.

Applicants must meet all ThanksUSA eligibility guidelines, have a 3.0 GPA from high school or prior college coursework, and be a first-time student to Purdue University Global.
